In middle school I had to take a sewing class that I did not want to take. I really disliked sewing until I became a mom in the 90s. My mom bought me a Singer machine and I made several garments including my son's dinosaur Halloween costume. I have been quilting for about 20 years. Once I got started I haven't stopped! I made mistakes, but that's how we learn. My seam ripper is always by my side! I enjoy the process of selecting fabrics and patterns to create a new design. I also enjoy crocheting and knitting.
